Commission of Ateneans for Indigenous Peoples

The Commission of Ateneans for Indigenous Peoples (CAIP) is tasked to fulfill the mandate and responsibilities of the Sanggunian President, in terms of advocating for the rights and culture of the Indigenous Peoples of the Philippines through education and community partnerships. The flagship project of CAIP aims to reach out to the IP members among the student body in hopes of forming connections within the Ateneo community through the sharing of culture and traditions. Alongside such projects, the members of CAIP also go through cultural sensitivity training to further understand and appreciate the IP communities in the country.
