The participants of the Harvard Philippine Forum J-Term Trek 2023 to the Philippines.

LOOK: The Sanggunian together with Loyola Schools administrators welcomed the participants of the Harvard Philippine Forum (HPF) J-Term trek to the Philippines last January 6, 2023, at Faber Hall.

The event was opened by Dr. Maria Luz Vilches, the Vice President for the Loyola Schools, with Ateneo tokens provided for the 15 Harvard University student visitors. The Sanggunian President, TJ Alcantara, led the discussion about the Sanggunian and the Loyola Schools, while HPF Director for Cultural and External Relations, Marcky Antonio, provided background and insight on the group's objectives for their trip. After the working lunch, breakout group discussions commenced throughout the afternoon, with topics surrounding youth leadership, student life, advocacy development, and cross-cultural similarities and differences, among others.

In attendance from the Sanggunian were the Sanggunian President, Vice President, School Representatives, and the Departments of Administrative Affairs and Communication. Nina San Andres, the President of the Council of Organizations of the Ateneo - Manila, was also present during the event.
